At Digital Prominence, our main focus is on website design and development<\/strong>.\u00a0 We’ve done numerous HTML sites in the past, but have become sold on the power & flexibility of WordPress.\u00a0 WordPress itself has matured a lot as a website development foundation, but we’ve enhanced that foundation by adding complementary website development frameworks, along with a proprietary set of functional modules\/plugins to create a website development methodology that really cranks up power and flexibility.\u00a0 Our Website Portfolio showcases ONLY\u00a0 websites developed using this methodology because, frankly, we just can’t see doing pure HTML sites anymore.\u00a0 Our clients love how easy and inexpensive it is to add functionality to their sites because the architecture is built for that.<\/p>\n

Responsive Design for Today’s Diverse Devices<\/h3>\n

Google recently updated their search engine algorithms to increase the importance of being “Mobile Friendly”<\/a>.\u00a0 All of the websites we develop now use a Responsive Web Design (RWD)<\/strong><\/em> approach<\/a> which enables them to pass Google’s Mobile Friendly test<\/a> and look great on any device — from desktop to tablet to smartphone.\u00a0 Read more about the importance of responsive design to small businesses<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

<\/span>Website Development by Digital Prominence: Value Added<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h4><\/div>\n

WordPress is free, but the frameworks at the heart of my WordPress-based development methodology are NOT free, and they’re not cheap.\u00a0 Some of the added functionality modules are free through WordPress, but we had to purchase others.\u00a0 We bought the frameworks and functional modules with “developer’s licenses” that allow us to integrate them into all the websites we develop, but which often require ongoing paid subscriptions (which we pay).\u00a0 We’re always evaluating, accumulating and updating the unique sets of added-functionality modules to meet our clients’ specific operational and “coolness” site requirements.\u00a0 Sure, it has cost us money and continues<\/em> to cost us money.\u00a0 But we consider it an investment in the satisfaction of our clients, so it’s well worth it!<\/p>\n

We’ve got experience finding our way around the frameworks and themes.\u00a0 We’re fluent in CSS, so we know just where to go to apply the design tweaks that will make your website, well… YOUR website!<\/p>\n\n
